Select the suitable candidate for you and your business

In this stage of the recruitment process you assess all applications, and finally select a candidate for the position. This process is managed by you or your recruiting staff/unit. The recruitment file contains the completed position description or statement, selection criteria, a copy of the advertisement and all the applications.  

In most cases, you need to set up selection criteria to assess and select a candidate. The interviewer or interview panel makes a recommendation on which is the most suitable candidate for the position. Once this recommendation is approved, the candidate is appointed to the position.
